* Our co-ed Tee Ball program is available through Princeton Little League Baseball.
** Regarding the 12U Division: We will only have a 12U Division if we have at least 10 players who sign up, and 2 parents who volunteer as coaches. The understanding is that girls who attend Princeton Public Schools will tryout/play for the Princeton MS team. We will work around the MS softball schedule by holding practices during the week and games on Saturdays only.
Some flexibility is expected as softball game times for all divisions are subject to field and opponent availability. The schedule will will include games against neighboring towns (e.g., Montgomery, South Brunswick, Hillsborough). Please note that we are requiring players to provide their own mitt, batting helmet and fielder's mask. If purchasing gear presents a hardship for your family, please contact [email protected]
Age Requirements
Girls between the age of 6-12 are eligible to play. Softball division eligibility is determined by birth year: 8U (2015-2017), 10U (2013, 2014), 12U (2011, 2012). Girls born in 2018 or 2019 (before 9/1/19) can register with PLL Tee Ball through the baseball program.
Residence or School Requirement
Players must RESIDE in the municipality of Princeton (or parts of Hopewell, Skillman, and Rocky Hill) or ATTEND a private or public school within the PLL Catchment Area. A Princeton mailing address is not sufficient -- Lawrence Township and Princeton Jct. residents are not eligible, unless they attend a school in the PLL Catchment Area. Registration Fee
The registration fee for PLL Spring Softball 2024 is $175. The registration fee for Tee Ball is $125. Each player will receive a jersey and visor. We offer a $20 sibling discount. This applies to families who have kids playing both softball and baseball too. We need many volunteers on and off the field this season, and all are an important part of our success and safety. Please note that there is a $100 non-volunteer fee for families opting not to volunteer.
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: All cancellation requests must be made by email to [email protected]. Refunds will not be issued once the season has begun.
